Marjanka is a visual artist and art historian. In her TECTONICS series, Marjanka investigates the shifting layers of materials, creating intriguing images of texture, color, light, shadow, reflections, and lines.

Andrzej Urbanski is an established Cape Town-based artist prized for his immaculate hard-edged abstract art. The clean, precise forms defining it belie its relationship to memory, sensory and spatial encounters, emotions and psychic states, which are channelled most often into overlapping colourful geometric shapes, implying resolution.

Ann Storme is a self-taught artist who grew up in a family of artists, including her grandfather and father. She is known for her paintings of texts, quotes, and her unique depictions of pots and jugs, drawing inspiration from the Italian painter Giorgio Morandi and her father. In addition to her own work, Ann is passionate about curating her art gallery, selecting modern and contemporary artists whose work resonates with her personally.

Lucas Thorik (b.1973) is a Dutch abstract artist, living and working in The Hague. Thorik creates large-scale finely tuned canvases by layering subtle hues to form nuanced compositions that bridge the worlds of art, design, psychology and music.

M. Mermic is an experienced Belgian artist whose works have been exhibited internationally and are held in permanent collections. Growing up in a family of artists, Mermic had his own studio since the age of ten where he explored his creative expression. Today, he forms images on large canvases by layering hundreds of pieces of paper from recycled magazines.

Van Craelingen, a name increasingly appearing in prominent galleries from the Netherlands to Bali, is known for his large-scale artworks. His minimalist style is infused with a fascination for weathered surfaces and subtle color shifts. The new collection he presents at Ann Art Gallery highlights his use of innovative materials such as recycled acrylic, which interacts impressively with light thanks to the fluorescent transparent frames.

Laurence Jenkell, known as JENK, is a globally acclaimed French sculptor celebrated for her larger-than-life Wrapping Candy sculptures. Drawing inspiration from her childhood, her “madeleine” is the candy itself. This introspection led to the creation of the Wrapping Candy sculpture, a universal symbol of childhood, innocence, and sweetness, which JENK has transformed to confront the demons of her past.
